FORCE TRADE MITTON & CARMICHAEL TO LINCOLN, ACQUIRE LEE

FARGO, N.D. – The Force have traded forward Ross Mitton, defenseman Ryan Carmichael, and two draft picks to the Lincoln Stars in exchange for defenseman Justin Lee and a draft pick.

 

Lee, an 18-year-old defender from Waskada, Man., is playing his first USHL season after spending last year with the Virden Oil Capitals of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. He had 35 points (7 goals, 28 assists) in 57 games with Virden last season and has tallied 19 points (4 goals, 15 assists) in 37 games with the Stars so far in 2018-19.

 

Lee has 4 points (1 goal, 3 assists) in his last four games with Lincoln.

 

The 5-foot-11, 182-pound Lee is committed to play college hockey at the University of Denver following his junior hockey career.

 

He will wear No. 32 with the Force.
