Hayes Commits to Lake Superior State

Fargo Force forward CJ Hayes has committed to Lake Superior State for the fall of 2015. He is the 15th player on the current roster to commit to play Division 1 hockey and the second player in just a week following Brody Stevens’ commitment last week. Hayes will join current teammate Matt McArdle at LSSU, who committed there this past October. Former Force player Luke Sandler (2011-12) is currently a freshman at for the Lakers.

“I feel Lake Superior State is a great fit for me because the coaches make you feel like you’re at home there”, said CJ Hayes. “Knowing I’ll be a part of a great program next year will be something special for me.”

The forward from Margate, FL is in his second year with the Force and has played in a total of 71 games posting 14 points with 10 goals and 4 assists. He had his second multi-point game for the Force this year on Oct. 16th where he scored 1 goal and 1 assist versus the Lincoln Stars in a 5-4 win.

The Fargo Force have two games left prior to Christmas break on the road Dec. 18 at Sioux City and back home Dec. 19 versus the Sioux Falls Stampede for Family Fun Night.
