Fargo Force Athletic Trainer, Phil Faught, has been named as the Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Junior Select Team for the 2014 World Junior A Challenge in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Dec. 14-20.
Faught has been the Athletic Trainer and Strength Coach for the Force since the inaugural season. He is a FAKTR certified provider and provides the injury prevention, injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement for the team. He is also the Director of Sanford Power Hockey Academy at the Sanford Power Center. Faught has worked with hockey players ranging from mites to professionals in the area for the past ten years.
Team USA has taken home the gold medal the past five out of six years at this tournament and members of the Fargo Force have been on the team each of those years.

Faught will miss three of the Fargo Force games including Dec. 12, 18 and 19 during this tournament but current Force Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer, Kyle McCuskey will fill in for the duration of the time.
The Force return home to Scheels Arena this weekend Friday and Saturday where they will take on the Sioux City Musketeers.
