This will be the second time the Force have met up with the Lancers this season. The first time the teams faced of Omaha came away with all four points on the weekend, taking home a 4-1 win on Oct. 22 and a 4-3 win on Oct. 23.

The Force played strong first periods in both games; tied 1-1 in game one and up 2-0 in game two heading into the locker room. However, both nights it was the second period that did them in. On the 22nd the Lancers scored two unanswered goals during the second frame and on the 23rd they tallied putting the Force down heading into the third on both nights. Third period penalties kept the Force from coming back both times as the Lancers secured a sweep of the weekend.
