Jack Peart is an 18-year-old defenseman from Grand Rapids, MN. After playing the first 16 games of his rookie USHL season with the Fargo Force, Jack returned to his hometown to finish out his high school hockey career. He had an outstanding senior season with the ThunderHawks, posting 11 goals and 24 assists in just 18 games.
His talent on the ice and outstanding character has earned Jack the honor of being named the 37th annual Mr. Hockey Award winner. The Mr. Hockey Award is given every year to Minnesota’s top senior high school boy’s hockey player, selected by coaches and scouts from across the state.
“Jack embodies the values of the Fargo Force organization,” said Fargo Force general manager Cary Eades, “humility, loyalty, confidence, gratefulness, work ethic and a team first mentality. He has a bright future and we are proud to be part of his development path.”
Peart was also named to the USHL Bio-Steel All American team where he will represent the USHL in a game on Wednesday April 7 that will showcase the top American-born players in the country. Following the conclusion of his High School career, Jack returned to Fargo last week, and will finish the 2021 season with the Force.
