Two 3rd period goals by Sioux City gave the Musketeers a come from behind 3-2 victory in game one of the 2 game series tonight in Fargo.

Sioux City scored the first goal of the game at 16:12 of the first period. Kirklan Irey tipped in a shot from close range off a nice feed from Shai Buium. Late in the period, Fargo was given a man advantage and they lit the lamp. Ryan Siedem found the back of the net off a feed from Bear Hughes.

The Force took the lead near the end of the 2nd period. The goal was all Tyler Rollwagen as he intercepted a Musketeer pass and fired one home for his eighth goal of the season.

The Force took a 2-1 lead in to the 3rd period, but Sioux City would rally with the only 2 goals of the period. The first was a 4v4 goal tapped in by Justin Hryckowian, then midway through the period Chase Bradly fired in the winning shot on a power play from the left circle. Fargo had two back-to-back powerplay opportunities late in the third but couldn’t make anything happen, falling to Sioux City 3-2.

The Force faceoff against the Musketeers again tomorrow night; puck drop is at 6:05 PM!
