The Fargo Force (15-7-2-0; 32 pts.)  hit the road this weekend for a game vs. Sioux City (9-12-1-0; 19 pts.) on Friday Jan 29 at 7:05, then move on to Nebraska for games vs. the Lincoln Stars (7-10-1-0; 15 pts.) on Saturday at 7:05 and Sunday at 3:05.

Sioux City has come out on top of the Force in both of the teams previous matchups so far this season. However, they’ve been very close contests with each game being decided by some clutch Musketeer plays in the third period. This Friday the Force look to exact some revenge against the Musketeers and come away with the win on Sioux City’s home ice.

The Force have had much better fortunes against the Lincoln Stars so far this season. The last time the two teams faced off was a three-game series in Fargo in the beginning of December. The Force came away with a sweep of the weekend, winning 4-0 night one, 5-3 night two, and 6-2 night three. Both teams play a physical style which makes for highly intense battles. It will likely be that way again this coming weekend as the Force look to extend their winning streak against the Stars.

Jeremy Davidson, who recently committed to Michigan State University is currently leading the Force in points (7G-15A-22P) and averaging just under a point a game. Defenseman Ryan Siedem (1G-16A-17P) is currently ranked fifth in the USHL and first on the Force in total assists with 16. Tristan Broz (6G-15A-21P) and Jake Braccini (7G-10A-17P) are also top scorers for Fargo. Point leaders for Sioux City include Brian Carrabes (8G-9A-17P) who scored two of his eight goals in the Musketeer’s first match up with the Force, and Justin Hryckowian (8G-8A-16P). Point leaders for the Stars include Zach Urdahl (7G-6A-13P) and Jack O’Leary (3G-6A-9P).
