The Force came out hot in the first period with two goals scored in the first 6 minutes of the game. The first at 2:20 with a point shot from Jack Peart (4) tipped in by Matthew Crasa (11) assisted by Brett Chorske (29) and Alex Nordstrom (10). The second just a little over three minutes later by Tucker Hodgson (26) assisted by McKay Hayes (15). Later in the first a third goal on a power-play for the Force was overturned. Sioux Falls was outshot by Fargo 11-4.
The second period was filled with big hits and aggressive plays from both teams. Highlighted by powerplay goal from the Force. Mason Salquist (20) wasted no time sending in a shot, assisted by Jeremy Davidson (8) and Tristan Broz (9).
The third period was filled with a barrage of goals from the Force. All coming toward the end of the period. The scoring was started with a sneaky wrap around goal from Davidson (8) followed by a goal at 4:11 from Huston Karpman (13). Sioux Falls snuck in a quick goal 10 seconds later to bring the score to 5-1. The final blow was laid in by Aiden Vanrooyan (3) with only one second left on the clock. The goalies for the Force Brennan Boynton (33) and Andrew Miller (30) also looked sharp, going for a combined shut out until the one Sioux Falls goal late in the third. Final score, 6-1. The Force play again at 6:05 this Saturday vs. the Sioux City Musketeers.
