Chaffee and McLaughlin Sign Professional Contracts

Congrats to Mitchell Chaffee and Jake McLaughlin! The Force alums, who both played collegiately at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, both signed entry-level professional hockey contracts yesterday.

Chaffee who signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Minnesota Wild, spent time with the Force during the 2016-17 season. Then Chaffee suited up at UMass for three seasons, and was named team captain of the Minuteman this past season (2019-20).

McLaughlin signed to an AHL contract within the Vegas Golden Knights organization, signing with their new Henderson AHL franchise. The defenseman suited up with the Force from 2014-16 before embarking on his collegiate career at UMass. Most recently finishing off his senior season with 14 points (3g, 11a).
