The Fargo Force picked up 1 point tonight in a 5-4 overtime loss in Muskegon versus the Lumberjacks.
After one period, the score was tied up at two a piece. Broz and Salquist had the goals for the Force in the first. The Lumberjacks went up 4-2 in the second, but Ondrej Pavel tallied a shorthanded goal at 12:37 in the period to bring the score within one.
Pavel then scored his second shorthanded goal of the game in the third period to tie the game 4-4. The score remained tied through the end of regulation and headed into overtime. With 53 seconds left in the extra frame, Muskegon's Danil Gushchin scored to win it for the Lumberjacks.
Cole Brady was in net and ended with 28 saves. Shots ended 33-29 for Muskegon. The same two teams will face off again tomorrow night. Puck drops at 6:05 PM.
