In night two of their weekend series in Waterloo, the Force fell 5-2 against the Black Hawks. The first period remained scoreless for both teams.
When heading into the 2nd period, the Black Hawks clipped ahead as they scored three goals before the Force broke their stride and were able to answer with a goal. Waterloo would score an additional goal in the second, making it 1-4.
In the 3rd period, both teams tallied another goal, but that was not enough to get the Force ahead. The final score in Waterloo, Force: 2 Black Hawks: 5. Force goals were scored by forward Mason Salquist and Force newcomer, Oliver MacDonald.
The boys will pick back up tomorrow for game three this weekend – this time in Sioux City to face the Musketeers.
