The Force fell in a weekend series against the Chicago Steel. In the opening period, Tristan Broz’ wrist shot squeaked by the Steel Goaltender. Two minutes later Aaron Grounds joined in the party and jammed one home. Then the Steel got their scoring started with a wristshot that just dove under Cole Brady’s glove. The Steel then took advantage of the powerplay and beat Brady to his 5-hole.

The Force broke into the second period with a back-handed goal by Mason Salquist. A minute later, Ondrej Pavel notched his second goal of the season beating the Steel goalie to his 5-hole. The Steel made a goalie change after the Force scored their fourth goal. With one second left in a Steel powerplay, Chicago scored to make it a one goal game. The Steel then scored on the powerplay to tie the game.  The Steel went on to score three more powerplay goals. The final in Fargo, 7-4.
