Rookie Force goaltender, Cole Brady, earns USHL Goalie of the Week honors in week 1 of the USHL regular season.
In his USHL debut weekend, he stopped 54 of the 57 shots in two matches.
At the 2019 DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic this past weekend, Brady shutout the Lincoln Stars in their season opening game in Pittsburgh, PA. He stopped all 30 shots. Brady is the first USHL goalie to record a shutout in his debut since James Durham (Des Moines Buccaneers) on January 20, 2018.
In game two of his USHL debut weekend, he had 24 saves on 27 shots against the Waterloo Blackhawks.
The Pickering, ON, CAN native is in his first season with the Fargo Force. He was drafted by the Force in the 2017 USHL Futures Draft in the 8th round (114 overall).
This past season (2018-19), Brady tended goal for the Janesville Jets (NAHL), where in 43 games he achieved a .912 save percentage. He is committed to Arizona State University.
In June, Brady was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 5th round (127th pick overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
