FARGO, NDThe Fargo Force along with the rest of the USHL have announced their 2019-20 season opening rosters.

Force forwards will include Kaden Bohlsen, Lynden Breen, Tristan Broz, Joseph Dunlap, Zach Faremouth, Adam Gajarsky, Aaron Grounds, Casey McDonald, Aaron Myers, Alex Nordstrom, Ondrej Pavel, Mason Salquist, Grant Slukynsky and Kyle Smolen.

Bohlsen, Faremouth, Gajarsky, Pavel, and Salquist all skated for the “Black and Blue” in 2018-19, and return to the Force this season.

Tristan Broz, a prior Fargo Force affiliate joined the Force late in the 2018-19 season. He suited up for eight games with the Force, including two playoff matches.

Lynden Breen and Joe Dunlap are also returners to the USHL - both new to the Force. Breen and Dunlap were acquired in the USHL Dispersal Draft from the Central Illinois Flying Aces, in which Breen was first in overall selection.

Fargo Force defensemen will include Noah Beck, Thomas Bergsland, Max Bronstine, Cedric Fielder, Colton Huard, Brian Kramer, Jack Robilotti, Nick Strom, and Philip Tornqvist.

Fielder is the sole 2018-19 Force defenseman to return to the roster this season. The Western Michigan University commit skated in 44 games last season.

Force goaltenders include Brennan Boynton and Cole Brady.

The Force have placed returning forwards Aaron Huglen and Carter Randklev to the Injured Reserve list. Both players are recovering from injuries and are expected to be back in the line-up this season.

Huglen, who is committed to the University of Minnesota, made his USHL debut last season with the Force. Splitting time between the Force and Roseau High (Roseau, MN), he skated in 28 games posting 14 points total (4g, 10a) for the Force.

The Moorhead, MN native Randklev, was a member of the Force’s 2018 Clark Cup winning squad. He suffered a season ending injury with the Force last season.

The Fargo Force affiliate list includes local talent, Cade Stibbe. The Fargo Davies High forward served as team captain in the 2018-19 season, scoring 56 points overall (25g, 31a).

The Force are on the road as they travel to Pittsburgh, PA for the 2019 DICK'S Sporting Goods USHL Fall Classic. This officially marks the USHL season opening.

The Force will then open at home on Friday, October 11th. Puck drop is set for 7:05 PM at Scheels Arena. Doors will now open 90 minutes prior to puck drop at home.
