Force Players Report to Fargo

By Force Staff, 09/06/19, 4:00PM CDT

Force players vying for a spot on the 2019-20 team reported for training camp in Fargo this past week as USHL preseason hockey gets underway.

Returning Force players include Kaden Bohlsen, Tristan Broz, Zach Faremouth, Cedric Fiedler, Tamirlan Gaitamirov, Aaron Huglen, Sam Martel, Ondrej Pavel, Carter Randklev, and Mason Salquist.

Huglen, committed to the University of Minnesota, made his USHL debut last season with the Force. Splitting time between the Force and Roseau High (Roseau, MN), he skated in 28 games posting 52 points total (12a, 35a) for the Force.

Local favorite, Carter Randklev, returns to the Force after an injury cut his 2018-19 season short. The Moorhead, MN native was a member of the Force’s 2018 Clark Cup winning squad.

Lynden Breen and Joe Dunlap are also returners to the USHL - both new to the Force. Breen and Dunlap were acquired in the USHL Dispersal Draft from the Central Illinois Flying Aces, in which Breen was first in overall selection. In the 2018-19 season, Breen skated in 61 games tacking on 37 points (12g, 25a). Dunlap saw action in 64 games, recording 12 goals and 12 assists as a USHL rookie in the 2018-19 season.

“We’re excited about the group of players we have returning and coming in as first year players,” said Head Coach Pierre-Paul Lamoureux. “We have a talented group of hard working individuals that will represent the Fargo Force with pride.”
