Former Fargo Force forward, Alex Iafallo, has signed a two-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings.
The Eden, NY native skated in every game (82 games overall) for the Kings during the 2018-19 season totaling 33 points (15g, 18a) and accumulating 22 penalty minutes. In his first season with LA (2017-18), he saw action in 75 games, totaling 25 pts (9g, 16a). He first signed with the Kings in 2017 as an unrestricted free agent.
Prior to the NHL, he played his collegiate seasons at the University of Minnesota – Duluth. In four seasons with the Bulldogs he saw ice in 152 games, accumulating 121 points overall (48g, 73a) and 52 penalty minutes.
Iafallo’s junior hockey career brought him to Fargo when he was drafted by the Fargo Force in the 2011 USHL Entry Draft in the second round (24th) overall. The forward appeared in 108 games for the Force over the course of two seasons (2011-13) where he accumulated 75 points with 37 goals and 38 assists.
