Force gets back on track against Waterloo
Sat, Mar 06, 2010
The Fargo Force has been heading the wrong way late in the season. They were losers of five of their last six before Friday night. Captain Chase Grant broke a 2-2 tie with Waterloo with 2:50 remaining in the third period and Nate Condon added an empty net goal to help lead Fargo to a big 4-2 win at home.
Fargo’s point leader Corey Leivermann opened the scoring on the power play in the first period. Nick Oliver and Garrett Allen assisted on the power play goal. It was Leivermann’s 17th goal of the season. He now has 49 points in 47 games played. The Force outshot the Blackhawks 13-6 in the first and held the 1-0 lead at intermission.

The Fargo Force has finally released its tentative roster. The coaching staff will be forced to shave the roster down to 23 players following the Fall Classic. There are only 10 returning players, so there will be plenty of new faces in town this fall. The following 26 players will report to camp
