The Fargo Force will begin their inaugural home season at the Urban Plains Center, a new 5,000 seat hockey arena being constructed in south-west Fargo. It will also be home to Fargo High School hockey, the 2009 IIHF World U18 Hockey Championship and many special events. It is due to open fall 2008.
The arena will consist of 40 luxury suites, 250 club seats, 3000 arena bowl seats, and 1000 bleacher seats. The facility will be a great addition to not only the city of Fargo, but the region and the state.
The arena will be operated by the Metro Sports Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes the growth of hockey and youth activities in the Fargo area.
